This annual competition sees the best of British and some International magicians compete for the coveted prize. Alex was working full-time in a large bank and competed against full-time professional magicians.

A rigorous process, where each act has to be performed in four different rooms, each with a few hundred magicians in the audience, and each with a judge. The scores are then collated to award the top 3.
